Dear Moldnet users. We are happy to inform you that the most detailed and popular map of Moldova, Point Map, has been improved!

Besides correcting former errors, the new Point Map 2.0 version and Point Map iOS evices application serious function and design modifications have been carried out and new cities have been added.

But first thing first:

Design

The new map has a new look. The buttons, menu, icons – all look fresh and elegant. Image icons have been developed and introduced for all types of locations, so that now it is very easy to find a school or a bank, by zooming the map.

Functionality improvement

From this day on, the functionality of Point Map service is objectively better – the access to the map and information about public transport and routes is faster and the location is determined with much more precision. Also, it is easy to find most buildings, institutions, stations, parking lots and public institutions – the Point Map 2.0 search engine is almost perfection.

“New” maps

All bags have been fixed in the navigation map of Chisinau and Balti – new houses (even the newest building re now easy to find using Point Map), new roads have been added, and all incorrect names have been corrected.

Detailed maps of new cities have been developed. Now, the citizens of Cahul, Comrat, Orhei, Cantemir, Taraclia, Cimislia, Ciadir-Lunga, Leova, Stefan-Voda, Calarasi, Ungheni, Basarabeasca, Vulcanesti, Ialoveni, Hincesti and Floresti will have the possibility to follow the correct route together with Point Map 2.0.
