June 1 – International Children’s Day!

Continuing the annual campaign, dedicated to this holiday, we again want to gather caring people who want to give a piece of their heat to children who were left without relatives.

On this day, the International Children’s Day, we will congratulate orphans who live in the boarding school of Straseni. This boarding school is a home fort to 126 children between the ages of 7 and 16 years who are lagging behind in mental development.

On the raised funds, we will invite clowns; buy gifts, sweets, fruits and necessary hygiene: Children toothpaste, soap, shampoo, detergent, etc. We also receive toys, books and clothes (please, the toys got to be not broken, and the clothes – washed).

The purpose of shares: to congratulate children who are living in a boarding school with the International Children’s Day.

Plan activities: fundraising, buying gifts, visiting children with artists.

Fundraising: is done by the principle “as much as you can” in the period from 19 May to 31 May from 09.00 to 18.00 in the office of SIMPALS (ask Svetlana) at Ion Neculce 5, 2nd floor. (scheme-http://simpals.md/images/map_big.png), or in a purse of WebMoney (Z340228912010).

Buying gifts: those who are willing to take an active part in the “Dedicated to boys and girls…” will be waited on May 31 at 12:00 at the same address. On collected funds by joint efforts we will buy gifts.

Gift-giving: we invite all those who want to congratulate the children on June 1 at 12:00 at Ion Neculce 5, 2nd floor. We will go together and it would be good if there are participants with private transport.

We would like to express our gratitude to all those who took part in the charity event dedicated to the International Children’s Day.

As you remember, this time the fundraising was intended for children from the boarding school for the underdeveloped children.

Boarding is located near the town of Straseni, a very beautiful place, the territory of the school is very green, lots of trees, flower beds, all well maintained.

We were met by the director of the boarding school, Dumitru Botya together with his deputy Yuri Ciobanu.

They had shown us the areas where students live and introduced us to the employees of the boarding school.

Dining room, where we met with the pupils of the school, is clean and bright, with new dining tables; all of these looked very neat. The caregivers are smiling, calm people. Everyone takes care of their group of children. It is very evident that the children respect and love their teachers. Here are their names are: Maria Staver, Schimbator Tamara, Vodovaya Maria, Iordache Elena, Shpak Tamara, Gladkikh Lyudmila, Gyrlyanu Veronica, Hadoroga Svetlana.

Kids are different, but very well-mannered and friendly. Cute, friendly kids who say “thanks” is not at the teacher’s order and that’s why they were enjoying the holiday.

The amount of food was more than enough; they weren’t able to eat everything, that’s why every table has collected the remaining food into a package, in order to eat up in evening

A list of what we have brought:

Strawberries, cherries, oranges, bananas, sweets, biscuits, waffles, pies with cream cheese, juice.

Clothing for children of all ages, toys (soft toys, soap bubbles, balls for football and basketball) and a TV.

We present a scanned receipt from the store, where we bought all the products except strawberries and cherries, which was bought at the market.
