Last Saturday, the 30th of May, caring residents of Chisinau have come to the capital’s parks with one purpose – to take away the rubbish at the recreation areas.
The action named “My clean city” started on the 30th of May at 10-00 a.m. and took course in the several parks of Chisinau: Valea Trandafirilor, Valea Morilor, Riscani, Riscani-Ciocana, La Izvor, Alunelul, Sarmisegetusa.
The city social action “Chisinau Is Me” have not stayed apart and also took pat at the parks clean-up. Volunteers of the “colorful” action have chosen the territory of the park situated near the Komsomol lake.
Over 20 participants during several hours took away the rubbish gathered in the Valea Morilor park. Totally they took away over 30 packs of rubbish.
Cigarettes stubs, chips packs, broken glass and other organic rubbish was gathered at the people flocks. Besides, there was cleaned the spring “Tamara”.
A lot of work was done and it was not all to do. It shall be continued within further parks clean-ups.
Shortly we shall inform you on when and where the volunteers gather the next time.
