Simpals has joined the new consultative committee of the Moldovan Association of Information and Communications Technology Companies (ATIC) devoted to problem examination and solving for financial industry in Moldova. Yesterday, 27 January, the first meeting of the FinTech committee of ATIC was held at the Tekwill Center, where the new IT technologies implementation in the banking and finance sector was discussed.

The meeting was attended by ATIC member companies, including Simpals, as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) — an international consulting and auditing company.

The participants in the first meeting discussed the prospects of implementing the revised payment services directive (PSD2) in Moldova, developing a crowdfunding system and its regulation at the level of legislation, as well as the creation of mechanisms for implementing the simple electronic signature.

ATIC tends to ensure that all changes in the financial sector are made in accordance with European standards. Therefore, the association plans to regularly conduct meetings of the  FinTech committee in the future.
