The largest and the most expected rock event of the year “Stary Melnik” was held on Saturday July 28, 2007. Moldova’s first Internet TV, Play.md, has held a broadcast live from the stadium of the Polytechnic University of Moldova. The rock festival could be watched from the beginning until the ending on the main page of Play.md.

The internet TV Play.md was the only media granted with the right to broadcast the “Stary Melnik”. The live broadcast lasted from 10.00 to 23.50. The visitors of Play.md could trace the performances of all 20 teams participating in the festival, including such legends of Russian rock as “Король и Шут”, “Пилот”, “Сурганова и оркестр”, the Moldovan rock stars “Alternosfera”, “Gindul Mitei”, “Zdob si Zdub” and the headliner – ageless Constantine Kinchev with “Alice” band.
