Simpals is the largest classifieds platform, a detailed map of Moldova, amazing cartoons, fresh news, effective advertising, globally sought-after devices for swimming and freediving, an online ticketing service, city greening and mural projects, and the most spectacular sports events in the country.

We are currently actively developing the Sporter project and we are looking for a Project Manager who will coordinate projects in the sports industry – from market research to event organization and results analysis.


Your responsibilities:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management (preferably in the sports industry or related fields)

  • Full understanding of the project life cycle – from idea to evaluation

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, sales, development)

  • Understanding of the sports market, target audience, and industry trends

  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and the ability to adapt them to the specifics of the industry

  • Analytical thinking, stress resistance

  • Legal experience is an advantage

  • Languages: Romanian – native, Russian – advanced, English – at least B1 level

  • Leadership, analytical skills, solution-oriented mindset, adaptability, teamwork spirit

Technical skills:

  • Product strategy and market research

  • Data analysis and performance indicators

  • Product life cycle management

  • Project management: planning, resources, budgeting

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organizing sporting events in new markets

  • Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance indicators

  • Collecting and analyzing market information, monitoring industry trends

  • Coordinating the activities of local teams, clients, partners, and suppliers

  • Managing resources and logistics (staff, equipment, transport, etc.)

  • Preparing reports, analyzing efficiency, and implementing improvements

  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Monitoring participant safety and satisfaction

Feedback

Test task

We work fast, that's true. Don't hesitate to ask questions while completing the task. Be attentive to details and remember the deadline.
Interview
The third stage is an interview. We will be happy to meet you in person. Prepare all the questions you want to get answers to. We will discuss all the important points for both sides. At this stage, it's important to understand whether we will work together. Or, as we say here, whether there is "chemistry".
Decision
The fourth stage is a second interview. Yes, we have several interview stages. If the test task is completed excellently, we invite you to get to know your potential supervisor further.
