How long have you been working at Simpals?

I joined in 2022. At that time, I was sending my CV everywhere. Previously, I worked at a bank as a B2B manager, and the same position opened up at Simpals. I had no idea what Simpals was, but I decided to give it a try. When I came in for the first interview, I liked the office and the sense of freedom there – I knew I wanted to work here. After two more interviews, I got the job.

What has your journey at Simpals been like?

I started as a B2B hunter and worked in that role for five months. Then, together with my husband, we started a business, and I left Simpals to focus on it. After another eight months, the business was running smoothly, and I realized that I wanted to return to what I enjoyed the most – communicating with clients. Luckily, at that time, a B2B sales position opened again at Simpals, and I came back stronger than ever.

Shortly after, I was promoted to Team Lead. However, I soon decided to step down from that position.

Why?

As I said before, my greatest joy has always been and still is working with clients. As a Team Lead, I had to manage a project, which meant that client communication was no longer one of my main responsibilities. I was handling the new role well, but it no longer gave me the same energy as before.

What I truly appreciated at that time was the support and understanding I received from my team and the company. I said that I wanted to be an Account Manager again, and my wish came true. From the outside, it might seem strange – I lost a higher position, but in reality, I returned to the job I had always wanted, reconnected with my clients, and once again, I’m doing what brings me joy!

What do you love most about your job?

I love the B2B sector – it’s always seemed more interesting than B2C. As I mentioned earlier, I enjoy building strong business relationships with clients and helping them achieve their goals. I feel that my role is important not only for Simpals but also for the companies we work with. I help businesses grow and gain visibility on the market.

What was your biggest challenge at Simpals?

The phone. At the bank, I was used to meeting clients in person. Here, everything is done online or over the phone, and at first, I thought it was impossible to close deals without face-to-face meetings. Now, I’m used to it and even prefer it – why waste time on unnecessary trips when I can solve everything quickly from anywhere?

What project or task brings you the most satisfaction?

I love completing the report and statistics after the advertising campaigns end!
I enjoy analyzing results and making recommendations. I’ve realized that our work helps educate the market in digital marketing. With the experience gained at Simpals, I can provide clients with recommendations based on their budget, goals, and desired services.

What skills have you developed at Simpals?

I’ve learned patience – advertising doesn’t sell instantly, and a deal can take up to three months.
I’ve learned to adapt my communication style based on the client.
And most importantly, I’ve realized that honesty sells better than any aggressive strategy.

How do you handle stressful situations at work?

I thrive on this adrenaline! At the beginning of the month, I put in extra effort so I can enjoy the results later. Stress even fuels my creativity – if something isn’t working, I start looking for solutions, sending emails, testing new approaches, and creating personalized offers. I think every salesperson experiences this. Without this state, I think I would get bored.

What advice would you give to newcomers in this field?

Keep learning and stay open to new methods and strategies. Simpals is a company that runs, not walks – if you’re not evolving, you’ll fall behind.
When it comes to sales, the key to success is trust, and becoming a trusted consultant is not easy. Every successful deal is built on trust. Give clients what they expect from you, and your successful career won’t be far behind.
