Simpals has expanded its solar park in Anenii Noi by integrating a 15.48 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

With this investment, the company’s third energy project evolves into a hybrid facility that combines renewable energy generation and storage, featuring one of the largest BESS installations implemented in the Republic of Moldova to date.

Energy storage plays a key role in increasing grid flexibility, enabling greater integration of renewable energy, and supporting the development of modern energy infrastructure.

Through this investment, Simpals continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio and implement innovative solutions that contribute to the modernization of Moldova’s energy sector.
