On Sunday, October 1, in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau will take place the third Chisinau International Marathon. This year, the participants will get brand new medals at the finish.

Each participant who will run one of the competitive distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km or 42 km will get at the finish line a finisher medal of the third Chisinau International Marathon. According to the organizers, there are lots of pleasant innovations waiting for participants, and one of them is the brand new medal design. ”If last year our medals had a classical, round shape, this year we’ve decided to make them fully pixel-themed. Only the three running men in national clothes remained unchanged. They are the symbols of marathon” – mentioned Serghei Legheida, director of public sports organization Sporter.

A total of 4000 medals was ordered for Chisinau Marathon. On the front side, besides the running pixel men, is indicated the distance run by the marathoner, and also the date and name of the event.

There are only 10 days left before the start of the third Chisinau International Marathon, that’s why, in order to become a participant and to be the first to get the brand new medal, you need to register on marathon.md website. The number of places is limited, so hurry up and participate in the most grandiose sport event in Moldova!
